Seminar: Scott Wasserman Hand Strip Hands on! Weekend Fun!!!!!

Join us for a fun, relaxed educational weekend with Scott Wasserman with a Hands-on Hand Stripping Seminar and Mock Competition. Take your skills to the next level. Bring your terriers or terrier mixes prepped and ready! If you are in a pinch and want to participate but don't have a terrier, contact Groomerverse and we will work to locate a model for you.

Saturday will be hands-on practice for the duration with a quick lunch break.  Couching and teaching will be continuous including observing and helping with skill and pattern adjustments. 

• Individual coaching  while you work on your terrier.
• Learn adjustments to your terrier's pattern for the best Breed Standard Profile.

Sunday 

is dedicated to a practice competition with prizes: Best finish; Best transformation; Best rapport with your dog; Best in Show. The practice contest will have a 2-hour allotment. Scott will stop the contest after the first hour to give a quick critique then allow all to continue to the finish. Then prizes will be awarded.

     Time: 10 a.m. to finish

 About Mr. Terrier

Scott Wasserman,  ISCC PDS, MPS, Meritus, Certifier is known fondly as Mr. Terrier. Scott has become one of the leading experts in hand stripping Terriers. Scott’s passion for pets combines his professional pet grooming with his dog show circuit experience.

Since 1992, Scott launched into the pet styling contest ring with his most prestigious wins including Best Pet Stylist in Show at the U.S. Pet Pro Classic twice, the coveted Intergroom International Groomer of the Year award. He has also been a GroomTeam USA member. As a Professional Pet Stylist, Scott owned his own salon, Smoochie Pooch.

Scott is a successful international judge and industry speaker traveling to major show destinations in England, Italy, Brazil, Scotland, France, Argentina, Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore, Greece, Australia, and Canada. He has received several nominations for the Cardinal Crystal Achievement Awards, winning the award of Congeniality in 2001 and Judge of the Year in 2014.  He was also the recipient of the Barkleigh Honors Speaker of the Year award in 2017 and Book of the Year in 2021. Scott remains active in the show ring as a breeder of Kerry Blue Terriers under the Kiluntin prefix.
