Learn the art of Asian Fusion also known as Asian Freestyle originating in Korea, Japan and China. This modern style reflects the trend of creating styles to look like stuffed animals, anime characters and teddy bears. Asian Freestyle uses a variety of different style points for the head, ears, tail and legs while the body is usually trimmed short.

This seminar series will start with the poodle, curly coat, showing 3 different styles.  Future seminars will focus on single breed profiles which will include Bischon, Schnauzer, Shih Tzu, Maltese and Pomeranian styles modified to their coat structure. Sally will showcase styles that are easy to adapt for busy grooming salons and easier for clients to visualize and maintain.

The Hands-on demonstration walks attendees through the practical skills required for creating the styles shown and discussed in the Demo Curly Coated seminar. Attendees have the option of bringing a model dog or live dog for single or shared practice. Live dogs must have a curly coat. Limit 2 person per model or live animal for practice. An audit only option is available.
