Innovation that Changed an Industry

Sam has always been an animal lover. After owning and selling several pet related businesses, fate led him to take a course at the New York School of Dog Grooming owned at the time by Ben Stone. A few years later working as pet groomer and business entrepreneur, Sam was offered the opportunity to buy the school. Since 1970 Sam and his wife, Cynthia, expanded and changed the course of history. Immediately, Sam created the first licensed school of dog grooming in the State of New York, He then developed the first textbook, The All Breed Dog Grooming Guide®, with instructor, Cathy Goldstein.
