Learn the art of Asian Fusion also known as Asian Freestyle originating in Korea, Japan and China. This modern style reflects the trend of creating styles to look like stuffed animals, anime characters and teddy bears. Asian Freestyle uses a variety of different style points for the head, ears, tail and legs while the body is usually trimmed short.
The seminar series breaks down 3 different types of coats that typically work well for this type of style. The first series in the seminar focused on Curly Coats as seen with Bischon on Poodles, next will be longer coats with hair structure like Shih Tzu, Maltese and Yorkies. Finally the last will go over coat structures as scene with Schnauzers and Pomeranians.. Sally will showcase styles that are easy to adapt for busy grooming salons and easier for clients to visualize and maintain. Finally, the series will end with a hands-on where students can bring any of the above types or a model. This final course will allow for practice and coaching.
